SolarLite-P – Clearview Intelligence

The SolarLite Path (P) is a solar-powered LED in-ground light designed for active travel applications, providing illumination and guidance for pedestrians and cyclists in areas without access to mains power or street lighting.

This environmentally friendly and sustainable solution ensures safe guidance for users while supporting Dark Skies initiatives and protecting wildlife, making it an ideal choice for areas that prioritise safety, conservation and the preservation of the natural night environment.

JWD oversaw the design and development of every aspect of the product to Clearview’s specification, including the original concepts, development of a custom solar panel, product rigidity, design for manufacture and FEA (finite element analysis) studies, and worked closely with the hardware design and final manufacture. As of 2026 the SolarLite-P is being rolled out in multiple pedestrian locations across the UK.
