AmiNet 540 – Amino Communications

The Amino Aminet A540 (or A540) digital TV box for streaming services is a high-definition, high-performance IPTV/OTT set-top box (STB) designed for Internet Protocol Television and Over-The-Top streaming services, featuring built-in Personal Video Recorder (PVR) capabilities, fast processors for demanding HD content, and supporting technologies like HTML5 and adaptive streaming for modern online video. It’s used by service providers for digital TV delivery, offering features like time-shifting, Video on Demand (VoD), and integration with various middleware 

JWD was approached to oversee the industrial design of the device, developing the aesthetic and method of manufacture of the award-winning AmiNet series of STB’s and adapting it to accommodate the hard disk drive for PVR services.
